At the Town Council meeting on 17 July 2023 the following grants were awarded:
A grant of £400 was awarded to the VANguard Centre to assist with the staging of the David Hawthorn Memorial Gala Concert. The VANguard Centre is a community association based in the United Reformed Church building. The charity concert was to raise funds for Blood Bikes Wales which provides a back up service to the NHS.
A grant of £250 was awarded to the Castle View Community Group to help with maintaining and improving the pond area on the estate and to cover public liability insurance.
